this is Hamzah here.

Just wanna give you guys an update.

Like i mentioned in the previous post,
the Aikido shirt costs about $9.
In addition, there is this $2 monthly contribution to the club fund.
So in total, please bring $11 this Thursday.

If you cannot pay up this week,
please do so next week.

AND FOR THOSE WHO ARE INVOLVED IN DEMO,
DO COME DOWN FOR TRAINING EARLIER SO THAT WE CAN AT LEAST RUN THROUGH ONE ROUND OF THE PROGRAM BEFORE THE DEMO.

to the pretties that went thru blue grading

this is a notice for all pretties that went for the blue belt grading last saturday and have received their hakama. please bring your hakama for this thursday's training and COME EARLY so that we can teach you how to wear your hakama, how to take care of it and how to fold it after every lesson =) afterall, its super expensive so do take care of it yea?!

looking forward to see more pretties wearing the hakama~~

PS: you guys should know that we're having a demo NEXT THURS (16 July) yea? please come and support if you got no class!!

Hey guys..
This is Hamzah here.

Just want to make an announcement.
It's regarding the Team Aikido Shirts.

As of now,
the shirt costs about $9 (updated as of 6th July), not $5.
This is being discounted by Sports Club (lol..)
The shirt is the FBT brand.
So, you guys should understand why the cost is like that.

Anyway,
As for the demo team,
if you can come down early for training this thursday,
please come down.
then we can set the mats up earlier and do a rundown on the whole programme.

And to those who went for grading on the 4th of July,
congratulations!
Now it will be your turn as well to help out your friends who are going for the next round of blue belt grading.

Important Notice..

According to reports, there have been a rapid increase of H1N1 cases in Singapore. Therefore, ZHENQISHU Aikido Club would like its following members to adhere to the following regulations:
1) Should you feel unwell, please consult a doctor immediately. Do NOT come to the dojo for trainings.

2) If you have been in contact with friends or families who have been told to be on home quarantine, please do not attend trainings within the first 7 days.

3) If you are confirmed to be infected with the H1N1 virus, please ensure that you have made a full recovery before you attend trainings again.

4) Please keep us informed if you are truly infected with the virus.This is a very serious matter. Therefore, let's all practise SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY with regards to it. Members who are found to experience discomfort or are unwell will be sent home immediately.

To all those whose names are stated above, train hard.we will do at least a dry run on the programme on 9th July during training. But in the meantime, you guys can practise with the partners that i have assigned you.

hey kids, to those that didnt pass up TWO passport sized photos, please bring it on the next training this thursday. its very impt as you guys guys are gonna go grading soon you need the photos to sick onto your udanza (i cannot spell), basically a 'passport' of aikido to record down your grade =)

TP Aikido Camp (11th to 12th June)

Hey guys, Hamzah here.

TP Aikido Camp

Date : 11th June (Thursday) to 12th June (Friday)

Registration for the Camp starts at 11am.

Venue is at the SAR Room.

Here are the three most important things to download:

For the two important documents i indicated above, please bring it on the day of the camp.
And to those who read this post, please spread to all of your aikido buddies.

And take note,
On 11th June (Thursday) is WEAPON TRAINING DAY.
So bring your Gi (as included in the pack list)

SO for those who are able to afford the weapons set,
do buy it.
it costs about $80.
it will be with you for life.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Just gonna post three announcements, that's all.

1) NO TRAINING ON 4TH JUNE

As it will be on the term test week, there will be no training on Thursday, 4th June in school. But if you want to train, you could go to other CCs for training.

2) Aikido Camp on 11 - 12 June

Date for the camp is confirmed on 11 and 12 of June.

- For those who are going but require consent forms (indemnity forms), do contact me or Kris ASAP. We'll pass it to you.

- We'll be doing another round of calling to check on your dietary needs (Vegetarian and so on).

To those freshies that have read this announcement, please spread it to the rest of your buddies okay..

3) Grading on 6th of June

To those who are grading to 4th Kyu and above, please report at Pek Kio CC @ 1pm sharp to set up the mats. For the freshies, do come down to Pek Kio CC to support your seniors who are grading, but do let me or Kris know alright?

lalala ~lets clean mats!~

hey guys! to all members of tpaikido family, the cleaning mats dae is coming!!!

as we have a manpower shortage, i'm here to invite anyone to help with cleaning the mats on this coming friday, 29 May 2009. we will all be meeting for lunch at 1pm first then start with the cleaning..

if you wanna ask if it is compusory, the answer is NO. BUT, i have to remind you guys that, anyone that uses the mats sld have the responsibility to take care of it and to maintein it at tip-top condition. its is part of having respect to the dojo too.. so, if anyone got the spare time, and is kind enough to help out, it will be appreciated. =)

I'm just gonna post up only 3 announcements:

1) Weapons Set

As you all know, we do have weapons training once a month. So if you can, please do purchase your weapon set from Sensei (or you can inform me first) on the training itself. Please note that it costs $80. The weapons set consists of :
- Bokuto/Boken (Wooden Sword)
- Jo (Wooden Staff)
- Tanto (Wooden Knife)
Also, it comes along with the casing too! =]
So all of this will cost $80 okay?

2) TP Aikido Freebies (Towel) [FOR FRESHIES ONLY]

To all freshies, please take note. On Thursday when you come down, do come and see me straightaway because i need to issue you your freebie, which is the ZQS Towel. For those who are coming a bit later, after training do come and look for me in the SAR okay? Help spread the message to all freshies!


3) TP Aikido Orientation Camp (in planning)

The Aikido Committee is currently planning to organise a 2D1N camp in school.
Tentatively it's from 11th June to 12th June.
More details will be put up soon.
And this camp shall be made compulsory,
C-O-M-P-U-L-S-O-R-Y,
unless you have a valid reason not to attend.
;-)

A notice to all freshies that wanna join the tpaikido family but havent register, please come to the SAR this coming thursday, 7May @ 3.30pm to register and make your payment so you can train as it is the first OFFICIAL training. pls bring along $162 in total for registration fee, insurance, uniform etc and TWO passport size photo..if you end sch late, do come over asap when you end, we will still be here..

to all SENIORS, PLEASE COME AND HELP OUT after you end school we need manpower.. thankyou..
