please be in the club room by 7PM and we can all take a bus there.. rmb to eat smth light so that you dont die of hunger kay?

Now moving onto the announcements..

1) Sports Club Sub-Comm Camp (28th to 30th Sep)

Do remember that for those involved in the Sub-Comm camp, reporting time is about 12pm at the SAR room. Any updates regarding the camp will be posted here.

2) TP-SP Combined Training

This year we'll be having our semestral combined training with Singapore Polytechnic Aikido Club at SP itself. It will be on the 5th of October. Details will be posted soon.

3) TP Aikido Club Hari Raya Outing

I'm planning to organise the hari raya outing on the 13th of October, so do make yourselves free at that time. Everyone's welcome to tag along.

4) TP Aikido Shirts

Guys, the SHIRTS ARE COMING IN ON THIS COMING WEDNESDAY. FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T PAY UP, PLEASE DO SO. DON'T MAKE MY TREASURER HUNT YOU DOWN. YOU FIND HER INSTEAD.

hey kiddos! heres the details to the location for the chalet

Venue:UOB Bungalow Chalet @ Pasir Ris Park

How to go: take 403 from pasir ris interchange, the bus will reach the end of the park and make a loop, when it does, GET DOWN! if you're lost, dont panic and call the KRIS HOTLINE (subject to availability)

time to reach before kris screams at you: TWO PM

To bring: training GI (girls dont have to bring hakama), weapon, and most imptly.. YOURSELF

i was thinking, maybe you kids can meet at pasir ris earlier, eat at white sands or smth then come tgt.. so most prob wont be late but even if late kris will still scream at ALL of you =)) *evil laugh* good idea?

all my darlings, i hope you guys are enjoying the poly mugging week eh? *for the freshies especially* pls take note of the abovementioned event, i expect you guys to turn up since its the holidays yea? it'll be a great time for freshies to know and interact with fellow aikido members from other dojos and learn from them when you train, for the juniors and seniors, its a time to get tuned in and catch up with our friends from other dojos too!

study break and finals

for those that somehow missed the announcement today, there will be NO TRAINING in tp aikido dojo for the next 2 week, mainly 20 and 27 August due to study break and final papers. however, do take note that all other dojos outside are still open for training so pls go if you've got no papers or juz wanna de-stress yea?

here to also wish all those having papers GOOD LUCK! and i know you guys will score VERY well since you're all my kids =)))) okay enuff of all the mushy mushy stuff.. see ya guys back in dojo soon yea!!

zhenqi-shu China trip

Dear ALL,

for those who dont know and those who didnt notice, Sensei is going to organize a cross-training trip to China, mainly Guang Zhou and Shanghai.. there are dojos there that we'll be training at plus some SHOPPING and SIGHTSEEING.

Date: 24 Dec 2009 to 1Jan 2010
Fee: not more than SGD$1500

if you guys are deciding on going or not, let me show you the pros and cons ok?

PROS:
1. expose yourself to overseas Aikido training
2. know more aikido people from China
3. learn more aikido skills
4. fly overseas without parents
5. bonding with fellow aikido mates
6. good food
7. once-in-a-lifetime experience
8. SHOPPING
9. learn life skills (eg, living without mommy and daddy)
10. sightseeing
11. etc etc

CONS:
1. LESS than $1500 flying away BUT its hardly a cons coz be sure that the $$ is ALL WORTH IT and sensei will try to lower all the cost as its a budget student plan kinda trip =)
in conclusion, none.

To muslim peeps, dun worry.. china got good halal food..

therefore, i hereby appeal to ALL of you guys to go for the trip as its really benefitting =)

those that wanna go, pls submit $500 to sensei by the end of July and tell him tt you wanna go coz he gotta book the air ticket early to get the best price =))

Just wanna give you guys an update.

Like i mentioned in the previous post,
the Aikido shirt costs about $9.
In addition, there is this $2 monthly contribution to the club fund.
So in total, please bring $11 this Thursday.

If you cannot pay up this week,
please do so next week.

AND FOR THOSE WHO ARE INVOLVED IN DEMO,
DO COME DOWN FOR TRAINING EARLIER SO THAT WE CAN AT LEAST RUN THROUGH ONE ROUND OF THE PROGRAM BEFORE THE DEMO.

to the pretties that went thru blue grading

this is a notice for all pretties that went for the blue belt grading last saturday and have received their hakama. please bring your hakama for this thursday's training and COME EARLY so that we can teach you how to wear your hakama, how to take care of it and how to fold it after every lesson =) afterall, its super expensive so do take care of it yea?!

looking forward to see more pretties wearing the hakama~~
